What exactly does Centrepiece do?

A:

Centrepiece is predominantly a decorative hire company specialising in decorative hire of beautiful items for weddings and for corporate events.  We can assist with decorating and theming ideas and have a team who can deliver, collect and or set up in venues all over greater Auckland.

What is your standard hire period?

A:

We allow 5 days - the fee is the same for 1 day or 5 days.

Where do I collect from?

A:

Our Glenfield Showroom at 17/46 Ellice Road, Glenfield - off Target Road.

Q:

What time can I collect?

A:

Any time between 8:30 and 4:30 Monday - Friday

Do you deliver?

A:

Yes, Centrepiece has a fleet of vehicles and we are happy to deliver down the road or across Auckland - there is a small charge for delivery depending on where.  We can also arrange to collect everything after the event.

Q:

When should I book the items I want?

A:

The sooner the better, we carry good stocks of most things but early Booking and payment of your deposit will guarantee everything you have asked for - items can be added/removed up to 4 days prior to the event.

When do I have to return?

A:

Either within or at the end of the 5 day hire unless advised otherwise - usually the first Monday after the weekend. 

Q:

The venue said everything has to be taken away after the event i.e. Midnight - can you do that?

A:

We certainly can, we have a team of staff who we can send out to do this - please ask for the cost when enquiring.

Can we buy your items?

A:

Unfortunately our beauitful products are for hire only.

Q:

What deposit is required?

A:

Our standard deposit is 25% - to calculate this simply divide the "Total Amount" on the bottom of your Quote or Booking by 4.

Q:

Can I give you my credit card details over the phone to make a payment?

A:

Yes, you can give us a call and we can do this for you - you can also pay online or using your Eftpos or Credit Card when you come in.

Q:

When does the final payment have to be made?

A:

Once the deposit has been paid, final payment of any outstanding balance is required either prior to or upon collection/delivery - we accept Cash, Eftpos or Visa/Mastercard. Payment must be made in full before any of our products can leave the building.

Q:

Are items on a Quote allocated to me?

A:

As a Quote nothing is allocated - this means that the items on your Quote could be hired by somebody else. Once a deposit is paid, this converts the Quote to a Booking and everything is secured for you.

Q:

Can I make changes to the Quote/Booking?

A:

You can add, remove or amend items on a Quote/Booking  up to 4 days prior to collection or despatch. Changes to Bookings on the day of despatch or collection may incur an administration fee - this is because these orders will already have been picked.

 Can you send items outside of Auckland?

A:

We can courier smaller orders and have the facility to road freight medium to large size orders in our custom built road cases - this ensures safe arrival and return of all our items.  There are certain items we do not courier or freight because they may break - especially selected glassware.   All courier and freight costs and any damages, loss or breakages will be met by you.

Q:

Do the votive/tealights come with candles?

A:

Yes, the price on the website includes a 9hr burning candle.

Q:

I have received your Quote/Booking but cannot open the attachment?

A:

All our Quotes/Bookings are sent as a .pdf - sometimes these get converted to a .win mail or other format especially if you are running a Mac or do not have Adobe Reader - just let us know and we can resend in a different format.

Q:

Can you do a mock up of my table centres?

A:

Our Showroom is very inter-active so we are happy for you to come in and move things to get your desired effect however, if you wish us to "make up" your table centres prior to the event we may have to apply a small charge for this particularly if this involves fresh florals.

Q:

I would like to take some of the items on my Booking to the venue for a mockup - is this allowed?

A:

We are very happy for you to do this however, standard hire fees may apply as we still have to pick these items, process and clean upon return and whilst you have them off site, they are unavailable for anybody else to hire.  Discuss this with us - we are always very flexible.

Q:

Where can I get my bouquets, buttonholes and any other flowers for my wedding done?

A:

We have an on premise floral studio called Willoughby Road - some of Victoria's work can be viewed on our website or at www.willoughbyroad.co.nz.  We can arrange for a consultation and provide a Proposal and Quote based on your requirements.
